Botkyrka Municipality selects Miljonbemanning for vocational preparation services

Miljonbemanning has been ranked number one in all twelve areas of Botkyrka Municipality’s procurement of vocational preparation and vocational training services. The assignment means that more Botkyrka residents who are far from the labour market get a path to work or studies – and, for Miljonbemanning, a particularly meaningful vote of confidence from its home municipality.

A total of nine suppliers took part in the procurement, with between five and nine bids in each area. Following an evaluation based on the best balance between price and quality, Miljonbemanning was awarded a framework agreement as first-choice supplier in all twelve areas.

The services are designed to strengthen participants’ prospects of moving on to employment or further studies. Miljonbemanning’s approach combines individual guidance with practical vocational training and early contact with employers. Each participant receives a plan with clear milestones and a vocational track based on their experience, circumstances and ambitions.

Throughout the programme, a coach keeps the participant’s plan on track, while skilled vocational supervisors are responsible for the practical elements. The training is tied to the real demands of working life and followed up continuously, with the aim of securing a work placement, a job or further studies. Miljonbemanning has also proposed a model in which part of the remuneration is paid only once a participant’s progression can be verified – a placement, a job or studies, and results that last over time.

The award in Botkyrka is a further step in Miljonbemanning’s growth within career transition and skills development. The company has also been appointed first-ranked supplier to Kammarkollegiet, the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency, for basic transition and skills support as well as statements to CSN on behalf of Sweden’s public transition organisation.
