    Do you want to start studying? Then Career Guidance is for you! We help you find the right education based on your interests and goals. You'll be supported by our experienced study and career counselors throughout the process and create a career plan.

    The public transition organization

    Since 2023, we are a proud supplier to the public transition organization, which provides transition and competence support to professionals without collective agreements. The services aim to strengthen their position in the job market based on the needs of the labor market. This is done through counseling, guidance, and support that are individually tailored, voluntary, and free of charge. You can read more about the services, terms, and how we work to support you in your career goals through our link to Nysteget.

    Here's how it works:

  • Layoff: If you are laid off from a workplace without a collective agreement, you may be eligible for transition support. This support includes counseling tailored to your needs and life situation, and it can help you find a new job or studies. You can also receive a statement to CSN for transition study support.
  • Employed: If you are employed at a workplace without a collective agreement, you may be eligible for competence support. This support includes guidance in your ongoing work life, which can help you find a new job or studies. You can also receive a statement to CSN for transition study support.
  • Self-employed: If you are a self-employed individual and want to study with transition study support from CSN, you can obtain a statement from the public transition organization. This also applies if you are laid off or employed at a workplace without a collective agreement.
  • Employer: If you are an employer without a collective agreement, your employees can receive transition and competence support from the public transition organization. This applies to laid-off employees, employees with a temporary employment, and permanent employees. You can assist your employees by informing them about these supports and by providing employment certificates and employer certificates that they can use in their applications.

    Sigtuna Municipality: Support for Job Seekers

    If you are currently without employment and are registered with the unit for Work and Income, you can receive support from a job coach.

    If you have been granted a labor market measure by your caseworker at the unit for Work and Income, you have the opportunity to choose a coaching company according to the Freedom of Choice Act (LOV). Once you have selected a coaching company that suits your needs, you inform your caseworker about your choice.
